ΑRTE Music Academy was established in September 2002 as the first Music Institution of Tertiary Education in Cyprus. It offers a three-year course in Music Studies, the only course in Cyprus evaluated - accredited by C.E.E.A.
From this year we offer a 4th year - Bachelor of Music
The faculty consists of eminent musicians and scholars of different musical backgrounds, covering a wide range of interests and research. Martino Tirimo, the distinguished pianist and musician serves as the artistic director of the Academy.
The Academy is housed in the impressive and fully equipped building "Archontico Technon". It offers an exciting and challenging course combining the academic, theoretical and practical study of music. The students enjoy a friendly and supportive environment that encourages individual creativity and expression thus creating a unique study experience. Among the aims of the Academy is to create professional musicians and performers by developing a critical musical mind, music interpretation and creativity.
The Academy has established exchange schemes with institutions abroad.
The classes are taught in Greek or English according to the wishes and requests from the students
